White Peak Digital is looking for a Business Development Manager to join our existing team of talented UX/UI designers, developers, sales consultants and project managers.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new prospects, converting pre-identified prospect accounts, and achieving an annual revenue quota. You will develop strong and enduring relationships with our clients, understand and identify opportunities in our core markets, win new business, create memorable client experiences and build the company’s positive reputation as a market leader.

Reporting to the business owners, this role will work with the sales team, project managers and the wider internal team and external clients. You will be given exposure and experience that will further develop your career.

Role Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

  • Develop growth strategies and plans, by identifying and mapping business strengths and client needs
  • Follow industry trends and understand market and competitor intelligence
  • Implement outbound sales strategies, including researching prospects, reaching out to potential clients
  • Review and respond to government / corporate tenders
  • Respond to incoming leads to increase our client base
  • Provide specialist advice on the products and services we are selling
  • Negotiate, draft and review contracts
  • Increase the value of current clients
  • Identify potential partnerships to leverage our service offering


  • Generate and follow up leads in a timely and professional manner
  • Writing business proposals and presenting these to potential clients
  • Optimise lead generation, sales processes, analytics, and utilisation of sales CRM
  • Understand the tender process and confidently leverage resources to apply for tenders for corporate or government engagements
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
  • Tracking and reporting of sales process
  • Guiding other sales personnel

  • Ability to develop and implement revenue enhancing and profitable business and marketing strategies

  • Expertise and experience in key account management, proposals, pitches, business development skills
  • Ability to make effective and/or persuasive presentations to C Level management
  • Experience with and understanding of writing proposals and responding to tenders
  • Strong communication skills and IT fluency
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and work well under pressure
  • Ongoing desire to learn and understand new and emerging technologies
