As a brand new business, Find My Campsite needed a robust, scalable foundation capable of handling complex multi-vendor operations from day one. The challenge was to build a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) that didn’t feel like an MVP. It needed seamless, intuitive user flows for two entirely distinct audiences: users searching for sites and property owners managing their listings.
They required a custom architecture capable of handling complex search logic (including location, dates, and guest numbers), dynamic interactive map displays, and a secure way to process split payments between the core platform and individual campsite vendors without administrative bottlenecks.

Our team kicked off with a lean technical specification to define the core custom post types, user roles, and data fields required. Using WordPress as the foundation, we paired the Voxel theme with the Elementor page builder to craft a bespoke multi-vendor experience that aligned perfectly with the Find My Campsite brand and implemented Stripe Connect to seamlessly facilitate and automate all payments.
Our web development experts built a streamlined client portal for campsite owners to manage listings, photos, bookings, and pricing, alongside a customer portal for campers to track their upcoming trips and save their favorite spots.
Finally, we built a core search engine featuring a two-column interactive Google Maps display to plot campsite locations, added an on-site messaging platform to connect campers directly with hosts, and created an admin dashboard for staff to view key platform metrics and manage users.

Following rigorous testing of the primary user journeys and a smooth deployment to the live server, Find My Campsite launched with a highly stable, performance-driven website. The full administrator management dashboard immediately provided the team with clear analytics to track platform growth and user activity.
Despite being a brand new website, the custom architecture and clean code structure allowed the platform to immediately start generating organic SEO traffic, search impressions and active online vendor and camper registrations. We are continuing to partner closely with the Find My Campsite team, providing ongoing website maintenance and conversion rate optimisation to help them scale this exciting new marketplace across Australia.
