The Brief
The World Masters Ultimate Championship is coming to Gold Coast, Australia in 2020 and the World Flying Disc Federation and Ultimate Australia needed an online digital marketing solution to promote their tournament.
This new website had to effectively promote the tournaments sponsors while still being easy to navigate so that the reader could easily find the information they were looking for on either desktop or mobile.
Our Approach
While the website was targeted towards the teams and fans it also had to accommodate all the media and volunteer applications for the tournament.
These applications were collected and stored remotely for future records while also being automatically emailed to the tournament organisers.
With the website also being launched 10 months prior to the tournament start date we also needed to ensure its long term success so that’s why the WMUC 2020 team opted for one of our website care plans.
This care plan gave the WMUC 2020 team peace of mind that their website would stay up to date, secure and online throughout the months leading up to and after the tournament start.
As a part of our website care plan, White Peak Digital is also continuing to assisting the WMUC 2020 team with content updates to their website throughout the year leading up to the tournament, as new teams join and information changes.
The Result
Overall, the WMUC 2020 website project was a great success.
Our client was extremely pleased with the outcome of this project as it achieved all of their goals that were initially set out during discovery.
White Peak Digital was able to work with us to better define what it was that the site would give us and was able to implement technical solutions. After many attempts to get our site up and running – Jackson was the first developer who was able to help us to define, build and launch the website and provide us with the confidence that we can adapt and upgrade the site easily and quickly as the business behind it grows.
